The CFUE simplifies building and urban development

In 2013, the government established the Cellule de facilitation urbanisme et environnement (CFUE). This expert group in urban and environmental planning aims to streamline the planning stages for various types of projects. The CFUE reports to the Ministry of Housing and Spatial Planning and coordinates planning procedures to facilitate the implementation of urban planning and construction projects.

Our role as facilitator

In an ideal world, we would not be needed. The laws on construction and urban planning projects would be simple and easy for everyone to understand. In reality, citizens, entrepreneurs, urban planning consultancies and municipalities often struggle to maintain a clear overview.
